Richard's first production was this Swedish band heavily influenced by the New Romantic scene in the UK. Mick (Karn) also appears. The album attained chart success throughout Scandinavia. Allegedly the album was also released in the UK as an English version called 'A Place In The Sun' and the group called themselves Vanity Fair.

Akiko Kobayashi, already well known in Japan for her singing and songwriting abilities, decided to move to England and pursue life here in London. The same track seems to appear on another release, "Undisposable Tones", released by Sony Records and a remix version appears on "Undisposable Tones -Alternative Remix". Richard & Steve merge writing and recording ideas with Nobukazu Takemaura (a DJ remix artist living in Kyoto, Japan). The recording took place over an extensive period with the exchange of tapes to and from the UK and Japan. There was no verbal communication between the two sides. In fact, Steve and Richard first met and spoke with Nobukazu when visiting Japan to promote the finished album.

Cipher is the name of the ambient project Theo Travis (JBK band member) has been working on with Jade Warrior bassist Dave Sturt for the last 4 years.
